When To Work With Data Restoration Provider

By Jeremy Canfield

Datarecovery is utilized either when a hard drive or other storage device/array has crashed either due to a software gaffe or a hardware error. Both can be awful as the effective result's that you can't access your data. A software error could scramble your information or make it unreadable and hopeless, or it's possible that some software could help you recover it.

Physical data loss is tougher, if your drive crashes and the platters which hold the information have been damaged, that is physical loss which can not be corrected. You may just be able to recover all the readable data, but some files/informaton will be lost. Or if you're lucky and it's a straightforward motor failure, arm failure, circuit failure, your data may be intact.

In all cases with datarecovery, you might need physical help but if the hard drive is recognized and working properly and you simply had a crash or need to see what files are on the computer, file recovery is probably what you want.

Historically with other services you are made to package up your entire computer or at the very least open up the computer case and remove the hard drive, find acceptable packaging and then you pay to ship it to a data recovery lab to receive an estimate.

The danger with the standard way besides the trouble and much longer turn around time is that your information/drive (s)/computer (s) could be lost or damaged in transit. Once your computer/hard drive ultimately arrives, you have to wait to get an estimate. By that time you are so frantic to get your data the company you sent to knows you're likely happy to pay any price even though it's on the high side of the guess.

With our solution we will basically connect to your system from anyplace globally so long as you've got a high speed Internet connection. We also tell you how much we're going to charge you before doing the work and you do not have to ship anything anywhere.
