HTC Mobile Phones Details Revealed

By Jen Smith

The next few months look quite encouraging for the once great mobile business HTC. Inspite of a year of decline where Samsung has grabbed the Android initiative, the Taiwanese corporation looks very well situated to produce a resurgence.

Mobile phone models are the key, and recently published speculation looks fairly interesting indeed. The One X+ is a enhanced model of the recent One X, using a 1.7GHz Tegra 3 processor chip operating Jelly Bean. What's more, it offers UrBeats earphones, a fresh colour and ClearVoice enhanced telephone call tech. Probably not enough on its own to revive the ailing organization's financial circumstances but its just the first stage of a recovery plan.

They will also gain from their integration with Windows Phone 8. Rather than attaching their mobile phones to one particular Operating system, HTC are in the great position of being capable of seeing which operating system is more likely to be accepted by users and then pin their hopes on that. The Android operating system and Windows Phone 8 operating systems interest different sections of the cell phone market place also. Those who want smooth integration with their desktops, Hotmail accounts and Xbox products are quite likely going to select the Windows Phone adaptations. In comparison, Android operating system will continue to attract a slightly younger crowd.

The Microsoft windows Phone 8 cell phones seem to be extremely well specced too, and based on what period they get to the market at, they look set to be fantastic in their classes. The problem facing HTC, therefore, is simply that they might have made some fantastic hardware but can you imagine if Windows Phone 8 stinks? Poor performance of one (either hardware or software) would pull down the other. These 2 companies really need these mobile handsets to do well.

From what we've seen so far of Windows Phone 8's performance, its obvious that it is quick. Microsoft intensely optimised it so it's entirely scalable to all types of CPU architecture running smoothly on single and dual core chips, not just on the extremely powerful quad-core processors used in cell phones like the Galaxy S3. Also the Lumia 610 has demonstrated that Microsoft's development team can work their magic to make a great experience on lower specced smartphones.

So this is one thing both HTC and Microsoft really need to give attention to HTC needs this to be a success. Apple's iOS has cornered most of the top end smartphone sector already. That marketplace is also getting close to maturity. Actual future expansion is actually in entry level phones worldwide - something the two companies have to focus on in order to remain successful.
